• Fees are non-refundable once a season, event, tournament, or program has commenced
• Administrative fees may be deducted from approved refunds
• Missed sessions, matches, or events do not automatically qualify for refunds
• Payment plans must be completed according to agreed schedules

The Club reserves the right to suspend participation for unpaid fees.

5. Participation and Assumption of Risk

Participation in soccer and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Physical injury
• Illness
• Property damage
• Accidents involving other participants, spectators, or equipment

By participating in Burnaby Spartans FC activities, participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate.

6. Medical Emergencies

In the event of an injury or medical emergency, Burnaby Spartans FC may seek emergency medical treatment on behalf of a participant if a parent, guardian, or emergency contact cannot be reached.

Any medical expenses remain the responsibility of the participant or their parent/guardian.

7. Code of Conduct

All participants, members, spectators, coaches, volunteers, and officials are expected to:

• Treat others with respect
• Follow instructions from Club staff and officials
• Refrain from abusive, discriminatory, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour
• Respect facilities, equipment, and property

Burnaby Spartans FC reserves the right to suspend or remove any individual whose behaviour is deemed harmful to the Club, its members, or its reputation.

8. Photography and Media

By participating in Burnaby Spartans FC activities, you grant the Club permission to use photographs, videos, recordings, and other media featuring you for:

• Social media channels
• Marketing materials
• Promotional content
• Club publications

If you wish to opt out of media usage, please notify the Club in writing.
